We are seeking a driven and service-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the smooth day-to-day operations of our upscale dining outlet. This role involves working alongside the Restaurant Manager to lead a high-performing team, deliver memorable dining experiences, and ensure the overall efficiency and profitability of the restaurant. The ideal candidate brings a passion for hospitality, solid team leadership, and a hands-on approach to daily operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Support the recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training of restaurant staff. *Create shift schedules and oversee daily staffing to ensure operational coverage. *Ensure team adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards, as well as company policies. *Deliver outstanding customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly and professionally. *Supervise the dining and bar areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times. *Monitor and uphold the quality and presentation of food and beverages. *Assist in developing and executing promotional strategies to boost business performance. *Control operating costs while maintaining quality and service standards. *Track inventory, process orders, and maintain accurate sales and performance records. *Work closely with kitchen and stewarding departments to ensure seamless service delivery. *Ensure operational excellence through strong product knowledge, including food handling and beverage crafting. *Uphold the integrity and creativity of the outlet’s culinary theme, including service style and presentation. *Actively handle guest feedback and make informed recommendations for service improvement. *Maintain strong relationships with both new and returning guests. *Be actively present during peak hours to guide the team and ensure smooth operations. *Lead pre-shift meetings to communicate key updates such as guest reservations, VIPs, events, and special requests

Qualifications and Requirements

*Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in a restaurant setting. *Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric mindset. *Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. *Good knowledge of food and beverage service, including wine and cocktails. *Proven ability to lead under pressure in a fast-paced environment. *Team leadership experience with a focus on staff motivation and development. *Familiarity with labor cost control and scheduling practices. *Proficient with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems. *Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
