Description

We are searching for an experienced and passionate Sous Chef who is ready to lead with purpose and precision. This role is all about ensuring smooth kitchen operations, maintaining quality control, and supporting both staff and customers. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives under pressure, and knows how to balance creativity with operational discipline. You'll work closely with the Executive Chef and take charge of culinary preparation, kitchen team performance, and food quality across all outlets.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef in day-to-day kitchen management and food preparation. *Play an active role in crafting new dishes and assisting with food and beverage menu development. *Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring smooth execution during every shift. *Assist with planning menus, ordering inventory, and managing food and kitchen supplies. *Ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained at all times in line with food safety regulations. *Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot kitchen equipment to ensure functionality and safety. *Contribute to improving kitchen efficiency, reducing downtime, and streamlining workflow. *Provide hands-on training and coaching to kitchen staff to enhance performance and team synergy. *Support kitchen operations across all stations during peak hours to uphold service and quality. *Conduct daily pre-shift briefings, outlining goals, tasks, and expectations for the day. *Perform walkthroughs to ensure proper food handling, preparation, and presentation standards are upheld. *Organize the kitchen setup to ensure team members have the tools and ingredients they need to succeed. *Assign and oversee end-of-day tasks such as cleaning, restocking, and prepping for the next shift. *Conduct inventory checks and manage stock levels across all storage areas. *Evaluate the performance and reliability of ingredients and supplies from external vendors.

Qualifications and Requirements

*Proven experience in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen or hospitality environment. *Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse kitchen team. *In-depth understanding of kitchen safety, hygiene practices, and food handling procedures. *Hands-on experience with menu development and food cost management. *Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities under pressure. *Comfortable managing operations across multiple outlets or service lines. *Effective communicator with a commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement
