Description
We are looking for an experienced Head Chef (Sushi) to join a leading Japanese MNC in the F\&B industry. The role involves driving menu innovation, overseeing kitchen operations, and ensuring food quality while leading a culinary team through the next phase of growth. Responsibilities and Duties
* Lead new menu creations and revamp existing offerings based on trends and customer preferences * Maintain high food quality, hygiene, and consistency across outlets * Oversee kitchen projects, ensuring deadlines and organisational goals are met * Manage operations including cost control, waste reduction, rostering, and profitability * Conduct regular team meetings to align kitchen staff and operations * Collaborate with HR to design and deliver training on food safety and kitchen management * Support business initiatives such as kitchen automation and process improvements * Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of sushi-making experience with supervisory responsibilities * Strong leadership and kitchen management skills * Knowledge of food cost management and operational efficiency * Computer literacy preferred for reporting and documentation * Diploma or equivalent culinary background advantageous
