Retail Manager

Description

The Retail Manager is responsible for overseeing the front-line team and ensuring smooth daily operations. This includes recruiting, interviewing, and training retail assistants according to company standards. The role also involves leading the team to achieve sales targets, maintaining stock inventory, managing shop displays and layouts, and addressing customer complaints and emails. Additionally, the Retail Manager liaises with malls to resolve operational issues.

Responsibilities and Duties

Support the front-line team to ensure efficient daily operations. Recruit, interview, and train retail assistants based on company standards. Lead the team to achieve sales targets and drive performance. Manage and maintain optimal stock inventory levels. Oversee the shop's display and layout to ensure it aligns with company guidelines. Address customer complaints and respond to emails promptly. Coordinate with malls to resolve any operational issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

Proven experience in retail management or a similar role. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and staff. Ability to recruit, interview, and train staff in line with company standards. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations efficiently. Knowledge of inventory management and stock control. Creative with a keen eye for shop displays and layout. Problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and operational issues. Ability to meet sales targets and drive team performance. Flexible and willing to work on weekends or public holidays if required. Strong computer skills and proficiency with retail management systems. Must be at least 21 years old for handling age-restricted products.
