Retail Assistant

Description

The Retail Assistant engages with customers across social media and in-store, responding to inquiries and providing after-sales support. Responsibilities include updating Shopify inventory, conducting stock counts, assisting with jewelry repairs, and processing E-commerce orders. The role also involves handling customer feedback, offering recommendations, and promoting products to drive sales. The Retail Assistant ensures smooth order fulfillment, maintains merchandise displays, and works to achieve monthly sales targets.

Responsibilities and Duties

Engage with customers on TikTok, responding to comments and inquiries. Update Shopify inventory to ensure accurate product availability. Provide after-sales service, follow up with customers, and offer promotional codes. Conduct daily stock counts and assist with inventory management. Handle customer calls and inquiries across multiple platforms (FB Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.). Assist in scheduling jewelry repairs and manage product/service knowledge. Process E-commerce orders and resolve customer complaints efficiently. Drive client satisfaction with personalized recommendations. Promote jewelry products to walk-in and online customers. Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth order fulfillment. Achieve sales targets and maintain well-presented merchandise and displays.

Qualifications and Requirements

1-2 years of customer service experience. Retail or jewelry experience is a plus. Passionate about assisting others and enhancing client satisfaction. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Capable of handling complaints and feedback with professionalism. Excellent phone etiquette and strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Positive attitude with the ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize tasks effectively. Proficiency in spoken English, Mandarin, Bahasa, and other languages to engage with a diverse clientele. Willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
