Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, both in the front and back of house. Your primary focus will be on ensuring exceptional service, maximizing customer satisfaction, and leading a motivated team to achieve operational excellence and productivity. You will also play a key role in managing the restaurant's financial performance and upholding our brand image within the community.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Coordinate the day-to-day operations of both the front and back of the restaurant. * Deliver outstanding service to customers and continuously strive to enhance their satisfaction. * Respond to customer feedback and complaints in an efficient and effective manner. * Lead and develop team members to achieve high levels of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and productivity. * Regularly assess product quality and explore opportunities with new suppliers. * Organize and supervise staff shifts to ensure adequate coverage and smooth workflow. * Manage the restaurant's profit and loss statement to optimize profitability, monitor and control operational costs, cost of goods, labor, and other controllable expenses. * Oversee all storage and supplies for the restaurant to guarantee seamless operations. * Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback to improve productivity. * Forecast future needs for supplies, kitchen utensils, and cleaning products. * Uphold a positive image for the restaurant and suggest strategies for enhancement. * Generate comprehensive reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses. * Promote the restaurant within the local community through positive word-of-mouth and engaging events. * Recommend strategies to reach a wider audience, such as discounts and social media promotions. * Train both new and existing employees on best practices in customer service. * Implement and maintain policies and protocols to ensure the long-term smooth operation of the restaurant. * Monitor inventory levels to ensure efficient resource utilization and minimize waste. * Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and professional appearance at all times. * Ensure adherence to all Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all work areas. * Ensure the restaurant meets all licensing requirements and promptly address any necessary repairs. * Perform any other related tasks as directed by the management team.
Qualifications and Requirements
* A minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in the Food & Beverage industry. * Strong supervisory skills, including accountability, organization, and planning abilities. * Proven ability to control costs and utilize resources efficiently and productively. * Demonstrated ability to effectively train, manage, motivate, and inspire a team. * Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence others positively. * Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic, and challenging work environment. * Willingness and ability to work split shifts, weekends, and public holidays. * Customer-oriented with a strong service focus, responsible attitude, and positive work ethic.
