We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Demi Chef (Pastry) to join our pastry team. The ideal candidate will assist in producing high-quality desserts, support daily operations, and uphold hotel pastry standards in a professional kitchen environment. Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist the Head Chef / Sous Chef during service to ensure smooth timing and progress of all dishes * Maintain quality in taste, texture, and presentation across all menu items * Ensure proper ingredients and preparation techniques are followed according to SOPs * Take charge of designated kitchen section – Main, Pastry, or Production * Check, clean, and maintain workstation standards consistently * Liaise with team to communicate challenges and suggest improvements * Uphold food hygiene and safety standards throughout the shift *Support training and development of junior team members where needed * Contribute to kitchen cleanliness and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently * Perform other tasks as directed by the culinary leadership team

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry * Positive attitude, pleasant personality, and strong teamwork skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment * Willingness to learn and grow within the company * Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail * Willing to work split-shifts, weekends, and public holidays * Immediate availability preferred
