We are seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to join a Japanese dining concept in Orchard. This role involves preparing and cooking Japanese dishes according to standard recipes, assisting with kitchen operations, and ensuring consistent food quality and hygiene standards. Responsibilities and Duties
* Prepare, cook, and present Japanese dishes according to SOP and quality standards * Assist in food preparation, garnishing, and presentation before service * Support accurate food ordering, portioning, and stock control * Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety within the kitchen area * Report maintenance or equipment issues to the supervising chef
Qualifications and Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of culinary experience in a professional kitchen * Basic cooking knowledge and understanding of food hygiene standards * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes consistently * Team player with a responsible and positive attitude * Willingness to learn and grow under the guidance of senior chefs
