We are seeking a skilled and passionate culinary professional to contribute to our dynamic kitchen team. This role involves crafting delicious menu items, upholding our high culinary standards, and fostering a positive and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities and Duties

* Prepare and cook menu items according to the directions given by the senior chefs. * Contribute to menu development and planning, keeping an eye on emerging food trends and service styles. * Ensure timely and efficient food preparation and delivery to provide excellent customer service. * Demonstrate and teach food preparation and cooking techniques to other kitchen staff. * Compile food orders for your assigned section, maintaining quality and cost standards. * Monitor and record stock, deliveries, and wastage to adhere to restaurant food standards. * Consistently follow standard recipes, cooking methods, and presentation guidelines. * Maintain awareness of food costing, sales trends, and menu planning principles. * Implement controls to reduce food and supply waste and prevent theft. * Uphold high standards of sanitation, cleanliness, and safety in all kitchen areas. * Conduct regular stock checks of ingredients, utensils, supplies, and equipment in your section. * Ensure food storage areas comply with hygiene, health, and safety regulations. * Actively participate in personal development by attending training sessions and courses. * Promote and support safe work practices and a safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Proven experience in a kitchen environment, with demonstrated cooking skills. * A solid understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team. * Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. * Ability to follow directions and maintain consistency in food preparation.
