Description

We are seeking a passionate Junior Sous Chef to support our Italian grill restaurant. You will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations, prepare authentic Italian dishes, and supervise junior staff to ensure consistent food quality and safety standards. Responsibilities and Duties

* Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and ingredient selection * Prepare and cook Italian dishes with consistency in taste and presentation * Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to maintain high standards * Oversee kitchen operations during shifts and ensure efficiency * Maintain a clean, organized kitchen in compliance with food safety regulations * Monitor inventory and support ordering and stock control * Handle customer requests and feedback with professionalism

Qualifications and Requirements

* Minimum 3 years of culinary experience, preferably in Italian cuisine * Formal culinary training or relevant certification is an advantage * Strong knowledge of Italian cooking techniques and food safety practices * Good leadership and communication skills * Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment * Passion for food, creativity, and attention to detail * Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
