Description
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations. The Assistant Restaurant Manager will ensure exceptional guest experiences, maintain operational efficiency, and inspire a motivated team. Responsibilities and Duties
1. Day-to-Day Operations - Manage daily front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations in line with company SOPs. - Supervise and support staff to deliver excellent customer service. - Coordinate between kitchen and FOH teams to ensure smooth service during peak hours. - Monitor operations for efficiency across food preparation, service, and table turnover. - Manage inventory, ordering, and waste for cost optimization. 2. Staff Management & Development - Recruit, train, and evaluate staff to meet performance expectations. - Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs. - Manage staff scheduling for effective coverage during peak periods. 3. Customer Service & Satisfaction - Monitor customer feedback and ensure service excellence. - Address and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels. 4. Sales & Profitability - Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager & Operations Manager to achieve sales and profit targets. - Monitor revenue, control labor and food costs, and recommend improvements. - Report on operations, staff performance, and customer satisfaction. 5. Health & Safety Compliance - Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations. - Conduct regular audits and safety checks to mitigate risks. 6. Labour Cost Management - Align labor expenses with budgetary goals. - Implement productivity optimization strategies. 7. Administrative Tasks - Handle reporting requirements, including staff attendance, payroll, and financial data. - Coordinate staff training schedules and compliance with internal programs. - Support marketing campaigns and in-house promotions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Certificate/Diploma in Hospitality, Restaurant Management, or equivalent. - Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. - Strong leadership with analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Energetic, service-oriented, and a collaborative team player.
