Description
This role seeks a passionate and creative Marketing Executive to join a dynamic team within a performing arts organization. The role focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies to promote performances, programs, and initiatives, with the goal of increasing audience engagement, ticket sales, and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of multi-channel marketing, content creation, and campaign evaluation, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for the arts.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns for performances, events, and programs. * Create marketing plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring campaigns are executed on time and within budget. * Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to develop compelling visuals and marketing assets. * Track and analyze key marketing metrics (e.g., campaign performance, social media engagement, ticket sales) to optimize future initiatives. * Prepare regular reports on marketing outcomes, audience trends, and competitor analysis. * Manage the organization's social media presence across various platforms, including content planning, production, scheduling, and community engagement. * Ensure website content is current and collaborate with external vendors on website enhancements to improve user experience. * Develop email marketing campaigns to promote performances, events, and programs. * Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers. * Draft press releases, media kits, and pitch stories to secure media coverage. * Monitor and analyze media coverage, regularly collecting and archiving media clippings. * Maintain up-to-date contact information for media partners and influencers. * Collaborate with the artistic team to develop behind-the-scenes content and storytelling opportunities. * Implement strategies to expand and diversify the organization's audience base. * Plan and execute partnership activations and maximize visibility for partners and sponsors. * Ensure consistent branding across all partner materials and platforms. * Develop and monitor metrics to measure the success of partnership initiatives. * Manage front-of-house support for productions, including volunteer recruitment, scheduling, briefings, and logistical arrangements. * Collaborate closely with the artistic and production teams to align marketing efforts with organizational objectives. * Supervise interns and/or junior staff, providing guidance and support.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Arts Management, or a related field. * At least two years of experience in marketing, preferably within the arts, culture, or entertainment sector. * Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., social media management suites, web analytics platforms, content management systems). * A strong eye for design and proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Creative thinking with attention to detail and a passion for storytelling. * Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects concurrently. * Strong project management skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach. * Knowledge of ballet and the performing arts is a plus.
