The Retail Assistant Supervisor oversees daily operations across multiple stores, ensuring high service standards and sales targets are met. Responsibilities and Duties

Manage day-to-day operations, including conducting weekly store or outlet visits. Oversee store operations in between outlet inspections. Supervise and manage a team across 5 or more stores. Lead, train, and motivate the team to meet sales targets while maintaining high service standards and strong teamwork. Control staffing levels through effective rostering, ensuring adequate manpower at all times. Evaluate staff performance and identify potential candidates for career advancement. Track staff probation periods and prepare necessary documentation for confirmation. Ensure strict adherence to company guidelines for brand image and visual merchandising. Maintain consistently high standards of customer service. Gain a thorough understanding of company brands and product offerings. Oversee inventory management and merchandising displays. Monitor and report on monthly closing sales figures. Assist with the setup of new stores or outlets as needed. Manage store packing during closures or renovations. Resolve operational issues related to POS systems, memberships, store fixtures, and visual merchandising.

Qualifications and Requirements

Candidate should have at least a Diploma or 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within the related industry. Demonstrated leadership experience in building, managing, and coaching a team to meet targets. Proven track record in retail operations and sales performance, particularly in managing multiple stores simultaneously, is a plus. Strong sales focus with effective upselling skills.
