Description

We are looking for an experienced and disciplined Senior Sous Chef to support full kitchen operations, working closely with the Head Chef to maintain high standards in food preparation, team coordination, and kitchen hygiene. This role involves a high level of leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to function under pressure in a bilingual environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

*Support the Head Chef in managing all aspects of kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflows. *Lead, train, and supervise the kitchen team while strictly enforcing food safety and sanitation protocols. *Oversee and enforce proper procedures for ingredient purchasing, storage, and stock rotation to minimize waste and ensure compliance. *Be hands-on in food preparation and ensure that all dishes meet the required quality and presentation standards. *Quickly and effectively address unexpected kitchen issues or service disruptions to maintain kitchen efficiency. *Adhere to all food safety laws, health regulations, and internal company policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

*Full proficiency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken, with strong communication skills. *Minimum of 10 years’ experience in kitchen leadership roles, such as Sous Chef or Assistant Head Chef. *Proven ability to handle high-pressure environments and extended work hours when necessary. *Exceptional time management skills and a disciplined, results-driven work ethic. *Holding relevant culinary certifications is a strong advantage. *Must have a clean professional record, free from legal or employment-related issues.
