Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to take the lead in the daily operations of our restaurant. This pivotal role demands a commitment to ensuring exceptional food quality and customer service, alongside effective management of staff and resources. The Restaurant Manager will oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, manage inventory efficiently, enforce strict health and safety standards, and cultivate a welcoming and positive dining atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Oversee the day-to-day activities of both the dining area and the kitchen operations. * Provide outstanding service to guests and strive to maximize their satisfaction. * Address customer feedback and complaints in an efficient and accurate manner. * Regularly assess the quality of our offerings and explore potential new suppliers. * Organize and supervise employee work schedules and shifts. * Evaluate staff performance and offer constructive feedback to enhance productivity. * Forecast future needs for supplies, including food items, kitchen tools, and cleaning materials. * Ensure strict adherence to all sanitation and safety regulations. * Manage and enhance the restaurant's public image through consistent effort. * Develop budgets, monitor operational expenses, and identify strategies for reducing waste. * Generate comprehensive reports detailing weekly, monthly, and annual financial performance. * Promote the restaurant within the local community through positive interactions and special events. * Suggest strategies to expand our customer base, such as promotions and social media engagement. * Train both new and existing staff members on best practices in customer service. * Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth continuation of restaurant operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

* A bachelor's degree, higher education qualification, or equivalent in Hospitality Management or a related field. * Five or more years of experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role. * Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication abilities. * Key skills including strong communication, interpersonal abilities, attention to detail, operational understanding, leadership qualities, team development skills, and financial acumen. * Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and in demanding situations, with strong prioritization skills.
