Kitchen Crew (Internship)

Description

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic individual to join our kitchen team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, assisting with various kitchen tasks, from food preparation to maintaining hygiene standards. You'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of our dishes, while adhering to our commitment to quality and food safety.

Responsibilities and Duties

* Learn and understand the restaurant's food safety and hygiene policies and procedures. * Understand and use the mobile ordering system, from customer order to kitchen display. * Prepare seasonal and promotional dishes according to provided recipes. * Learn the restaurant's procedures for managing inventory. * Ensure that stocks and ingredients are used following the FIFO (First In, First Out) method. * Inspect completed dishes to confirm they meet the restaurant's quality standards, and learn to plate them according to the chef's instructions. * Assist other kitchen stations as needed to ensure seamless service. * Clean dishes and kitchen equipment. * Receive stock deliveries and verify they are of the correct quantity and quality.

Qualifications and Requirements

* Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays. * Must be proactive and hardworking with a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and contribute.
